CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
HUGO WAGNER, in his fifties. African American. Works as a clerk at the Post Office. Has been married 22 times, going for his 23rd.
WAFA HADID, in her forties. Tunisian. Very well-educated and tough. Speaks English almost perfectly. She studied to be an MD, and nearly graduated. She has two kids. It is not required that the actress have a Maghreb background.
IRENE CABLAN, in her twenties. From the Dominican Republic. In the DR, she was a model and appears regularly in jet set magazines and reality shows. She speaks good English, maybe with some accent. Or not. She makes us laugh just by staring at us.
ELMAR RODRIGUEZ, in his twenties. He is an unpublished writer from Venezuela. Speaks good English, may or may not have an accent. He is an intellectual with an extraordinary sense of humor. Sharp, always ready with a comeback to one up you.
